I Still Don't Believe That I Left You

46

By Benson Yeung

So sure but so wrong

I still can't believe that I left you,

for a decision made without reasons.

I was so sure I could stand hurting you,

I could come through all this, decent.

Darkness came, as early as seven in the evening.

Even the stars were all up early.

They twinkled and blurred into the night,

Or was it this moisture blinding my sight.

Wrong decisions are made all the time in life.

We only know when we look into the rear mirror.

Dear, my dear, Oh dear,

How come I can't see this sooner?

Don't take me back , I beg you.

I'm bound to leave you once more.

Let me see you from a distance,

That's what it takes to soothe the pain.

Until then, I shall sit by my window,

And indulge in my endless sorrow.
